Technically not an eXGEN but hell it is worth posting for a laugh!!

This little gem came from a friend of a friend who is currently exploring the very random world of on-line dating (oh you know there are going to be some great stories coming from our forays into cyber-connecting don't you??!!). Without further ado allow me to introduce you to Mr G (50yo)...a man who clearly has an ego so large that it prevents him from identifying a very clear kiss off in a previous email...who knew there could be so many enlightened and enlightening people to connect with???

No problem Ms X

It's no big deal to me as I have the numbers of more women than I could ever call anyway.

I know you're not a serial dater however I think you're getting a little confused about a strategy to handle [on-line dating service]. Dating is a numbers game. The best idea is to go out with as many guys as you want with a few commonsense rules. Firstly have one off dates with plenty of guys until you find one with a great connection on the first date. Don't go out on second dates with anyone where you have average chemistry with the idea that the chemistry may improve. It rarely does and you waste a lot of time. When you finally meet someone that makes your toes curl just stop dating anyone else. The golden rule is that you can date as many people as you like until you find someone that you really like and want to sleep with and then you simply stop dating anyone else.

So the main rule is only have first dates until you find someone with potential for a relationship and then go one on one.

Using your strategy of sequential rather than parallel dating you'll take forever to find someone. Also you'll get impatient after a while, wonder if there's something wrong with you, and settle for less than you deserve. Another issue is that there aren't alot of great forty something guys around and they aren't single for long. The proof of all this is in the eating because I would have been one of the most interesting and provocative guys you'll ever meet and we're not even going to set eyes on each other. C'est la vie.

GOOD BLOODY LORD!!!
